Common / Re: De 'oude' Qmod processor en gebruikers

Ok duidelijk.

Mooie herinnering.

« on: November 13, 2017, 03:45:47 pm »
Hi Photon,

Questions and Bugs / Re: Conflict with RAdmin
« on: November 06, 2017, 11:51:49 am »
***PS. Please check if in Radmin Settings / Options / Mics. is ticked "Load Mirror Driver on Startup". Otherwise Qmod will freeze only after someone connect to Your PC.***

Ok, did that. It was unchecked but I ticked it and restarted the PC and Qmod, connected with Radmin and selected visuals. No difference at all. Everything runs smoothly.
It looks like it's local, could be the video drivers. I'm using an i5-5250 and the onboard intel videocard with default drivers.
The back-end of the GUI is OpenGL and the GLFW window driver

***PS2. Maybe this is somehow related. After click on [visuals] tab program stop responding. Even when Radmin is uninstalled completely.***

The visuals display is a bit CPU power hungry and it could freeze on a slower CPU but I never had a crash like that.
Some older versions of Qmod had somewhat more trouble to diplay the visuals but that would be versions before 17.7.

Hope this helps.

Questions and Bugs / Re: Conflict with RAdmin
« on: November 05, 2017, 11:55:36 am »
Did a test this morning.
RAdmin and Qmod have been running for two hours now without any problems, so I can't reproduce the problem.
Both PCs are running Win10 connected via LAN. I'm using Qmod 17.9 beta 6 and Radmin 3.5.1.
What version of Qmod are you using?
I don't kwow if you're forced to use Radmin but you could check out an alternative like Teamviewer. It has a freeware version for personal use.

The widgets in that Qmod uses are not very confortable to use on a touch screen. Should this be changed to make it more usable for toouch screen operation?

I may have found the cause of it. There was an error in the 32bit manifest.
I've compiled a new version. Please download and install the new Omod.exe. Others are not necessary. Let me know it running now.

Hi papamosca,

Qmod is a standalone program
Just unpack the zipfile in your home folder. You can make a link to your desktop for easy access.
Connect a audio source to your audio card, then start Qmod.
If you don't want to use your standard audio IO go to Config and select the devices tab and select the preferable device and buffer size, then active the new settings.

Please read the manual for more info.
Have fun,

« on: July 13, 2017, 02:34:21 pm »
Release info:
  • Workaround: When the config window is resized it distorts the main window. It's a bug in a part of the GUI library(GLFW) which I didn't create and am not able to fix (yet). Now a redraw is done of the main window to recreate the main window.
  • Changed: Moved the preemphasis clipper control to the FM panel. It's only used in FM mode.
  • Fixed: The preemphasis clipper wasn't disabled when not in FM mode.
  • Fixed: If you imported a preset that is currently in use, the new values weren't loaded and sent to the processing core.
  • Added: Two new presets.
  • Added: Band clipper indicator for every band.
